Setting up and managing venues as an agency

Introduction

Venue management for agents is now available on a dedicated screen under Management > Venues. If the venue allows you to make edits, at all times you can:

  • Add, edit, or remove venue members
  • Update billing profile details
  • Modify payment terms

Key Points:

  • Agents automatically have managing/editing access for venues they add to Surreal.
  • For venues added before 8th Jan 2025, you may need to request access from a venue member or contact support@surreal.live for assistance.
  • Venue members can grant agencies explicit access to update payment details and manage members via the venue profile settings.

  • Increased visibility is now available as to venue payment terms and which day auto invoices will be generated
  • Venues that agencies have requested access to will now show as pending in the list of venues


Managing members and payment details

  1. When enabled to make changes to members and payment details, a green edit pencil will show next to the venue name

  1. Click the extended menu to see the editing options available

  1. Click through and make changes as required

Requesting access to manage members and payment details

  1. When not enabled to make changes, the green edit pencil will not show next to the venue name, nor will the extended menu options be clickable


  1. To request access, please contact the venue and ask them to enable you via their venue profile settings
