Why entertainer entity type is required for invoicing & payment
- Entertainers must select an entity type before any of their performances—including the agency portion—can be invoiced or paid.
- At the time of invoicing, Surreal needs to know each entertainer’s setup in order to correctly allocate Superannuation contributions. If the entity type is unknown, we’re unable to generate accurate invoices, as the breakdown of amounts between parties can’t be determined.
- This requirement also ensures all parties remain fully compliant with the Superannuation Guarantee Act 1992 and are protected under the legislation.
